It has been the tradition of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church to hold its 'Session' every 5 years. During the Session period, church pastors, ministers and leaders of the Adventist Church gather to elect new leaders and departmental direcrtors to look after the church in the next 5 years.

The theme of this years Session, as appointed by the General Conference, is; PROCLAIMING HIS GRACE.

The Papua New Guinea Union Mission of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church will hold its Session from the 2nd of November to 6th. The venue will be at the Rose Kekedo Lecture Hall, Papua New Guinea University of Technology.

Seventh-Day Adventist Pastors, Ministers and Leaders from all over Papua New Guinea are expected to meet at the Session in which they will elect their new leaders for the church in the nexrt five years. The Leaders that will be elected and appointed will hold key offices in the PNG Union Mission Office and other 10 local mission offices in the country.
